So I finally got tired of hearing my Heep squeal today so I decided to replace the belt and clean the pulleys. Only to find out that my idler/tensioner pulley was installed incorrectly via the dumb@$$ previous owner...the pulley was actually chewing through the bracket that holds it on there.
I might be on the look out for a new bracket if this one is too far gone, if anyone has one, can you let me know? Thanks!

Have a few questions.
Is the Putco H$ harness something I should get? I saw a crazy change from the original sealed beams, to my Rampage H4s already, but I keep seeing everywhere that I should upgrade the harness too.
Also, does anyone know of a good place around Culpeper to get my new exhaust installed? I got a new cat, muffler, and tailpipe for Christmas, and haven't gotten it installed yet. I tried Shorty's in Culpeper, and he is backed up for the week, but would only charge around $70 to do it. I would like it done this week, without spending an arm and a leg, and can't do it myself since I don't have a welder or the experience.

yea you should def upgrade the harness, especially with higher wattage bulbs, before you burn up the interior switch.
I have the putco harness - been working great for the last couple years

Is the bracket for the idler/tensioner pulley suppose to be curved where the pulley attaches? I will get pictures of mine when I have a chance to pull it off if I need to.
This is for a 98 4.0L I know the picture shows a 2.5L but it looks similar to the 4.0 it is the pully under the power steering pulley.
