you had the right site, just needed to find the parcel numbers to see if they're actually public or not, which you can do here:
http://gisweb.cityofchesapeake.net/q...rch/index.html

I looked up a bunch of them throughout that "subdivision" and they all have a "sale date" but it doesn't say to who. Bottom line, someone owns the land which means wheeling it is illegal without their consent.

OK I won't, just looking for some muddy roads. Not many around here unless you know of any.

Trust me, I know. It sucks having to travel a couple hours for wheeling, but that's part of living in Hampton Roads. If you can find out who the land owner(s) are get their permission, by all means do it. It takes some work, but being able to wheel in this area legally is worth it.

Literally all I have for now is driving fast down rutted mud covered gravel roads. Having a few friends ask around to see if there is anything legal. Haven't been to the beach yet, maybe once it warms up I'll head out there. I may ask one of my farmer friends to see if I can go on his roads and in his field before he plows it.

This is as muddy as my Jeep has ever been. Yesterday after class I found some muddy gravel roads, and yes they were legal roads.

I am in the same boat, searched and searched for something around here but the bottom line is nothing in the area is 100% legal besides a few dirt roads. There is a dealership that has a park but you have to wait for an event. I did take my first trip to shoe creek and it was great. Well worth the trip and really showed me what I needed to work on/improve between my jeep and myself.

Next time you go up to shoe creek check out Big Levels. Really good system of trails. Just make sure you have a full tank of gas.

So is there any decent exhaust shops around here? I'm going to be redoing my exhaust in the near future and need someone to make a new downpipe.

There used to be a place off Pembroke ave in Hampton that was good.
I moved out of Hampton so I don't know if they're still there or not. .
Sorry, can't remember the name

I'm not sure
They been around for some time so I would assume so..

I do all my own work or have a personal mechanic that does what I can't / don't have time to do

If I had the ability to make a downpipe I would. I think I'm going to do an APN header, mandrel bent downpipe, high flow converter and a flow master 44 muffler then dump the exhaust after the muffler.
