How about you go to the junk yard to get a rear yoke off an 8.25" and the stupid idiot fork lift mexican wont lift the jeep how you want because he cant understand you and tries to tell you in spanish that his way is better i tried for like 2 hrs and then he just left when i asked him to move it one more time, i feel your pain haha

Can anyone tell my why my transfer case sometimes won't disengage from 4h to 2wd? It all started one night I threw it in 4h going up my buddies icy driveway and my rpms were still kinda up from spinning.

mines like that, you just have to go into reverse and back into drive sometimes and it disengages, you should hear a click when it does

Mine sometimes does that coming out of 4x4 Full Time (I have an NP242), the reverse trick works. But I thought it might be worth mentioning that you should not shift in or out of 4wd while applying torque. Let off the gas, then shift.

yeah ive made a few grinding noises with mine before, thought i was completely off the pedal but wasnt, tcase still works good though
