I saw the Susquehanna merman.... we Were wheeling down by gut rd, in the "rock garden" and we saw a dude, probably pushing 350lbs, laying on a rock in the middle of the river wearing what appeared to be a speedo and nothing else.

Need some advice
I'm regearing my axles and I've read the multiple charts across the interweb, all signs point 4.56. I'm running 33x12.50's with a d30 and a chrysler 8.25. What do you guys think? Go with the 4.56's?

Honestly it all depends on what you want to do with the Jeep. Whether it's a street Queen, mud truck or rock buggy.

i'd go 4.56s if you like fuel economy on the street, should be plenty for offroad also. Hell, i rock 3.07s with 33s offroad just fine

The smaller the gear number the lower the rpm will be at 65mph, but there is a such thing as too low. Also if you run 3.55s it puts more strain on your trans/t case, where as 4.56s for instance, transfers the strain to your axles more then trans/tcase. It's a delicate balance lol

I had 33s and 4.10's on my old Ranger, and it did okay on the highway, but it was a struggle to hit 70mph. Granted, this was a little 3.0 engine we're talking, but fuel mileage was very good also, about 18-20mpg highway. 4.56s would've been better yet.

As I said, is a delicate balance, but your Ranger is a good example. The lower# gears helped Highway mileage but hurt city. The 4.56s would have helped city and hurt Highway a bit. But I think all in all fuel mileage would have been better with the 4.56s.
