Ya ill get some of the jk winch plate i welded on. I am mig welder. My problem is the distance to the work and keeping it steady. I just can't seem to adjust to holding the rod. But ill get some pix right now

I've only been using the stick for like 2 weeks now. I can't afford a big mig so i got the stick used for the bigger metals

Hard to see, but didn't look bad. I can see where your bead runs away from the seam. Auto darkening mask or no?

Keep in mind that DCEN penetrate deeper but have a narrow width. Good for welding on thicker metals. Using DCPN would be very wide but doesn't penetrate deeper. (Ideal for thin metals.)

Well i use the mig for anything under 3/16. Im a pretty good mig welder. I just can't get the hang of the stick. For some reason i keep lifting or moving from the seam. Maybe its just a practice thing ill get it one day deal. But ill strike get a good burn great penetration real nice pool and then i just loss it.

Right now Im on 30amp should be 50amp. But I've read 30 is ok for 135 anything more needs 50amp breaker. Have i read correctly or no? It seems to weld pretty good.

Yes it should be wired for 50 amps. I thought the same way u did and it didn't work out well.

But when u put in the 50 amp breaker make sure the wire are rated for that as well
