I normally don't wear that jacket/shirt combo. If I'm doing anything that I feel I may go a blaze, I wear my kevlar sleeves at minimum, and my dad's old fire jacket (works nicely for overhead). I was just being dumb with something I did, lesson learned. No clothing melted to me though, Pretty sure the inferno came up my right sleeve (im right handed) and out my collar, along with straight at me. My beard gave its life for my face though, I will never forget its braveness. any who, work is going to suck tomorrow, I'm supposed to be throwing a motor into an audi, but I think I'm going to reschedule that later in the week. Easy stuff for tomorrow!
Rip beard, you will return.
Just remember to not wear synthetics that melt to skin (ie. nylon and polyester).
I wear gloves and a long sleeve shirt, never really wore any other welding clothes except when I was in welding class in school

I have to wear that **** all night at work, why the **** would I want to wear it at home? Besides my 12 yr old is always wearing mine when he welds, albeit it's a weebit big on him. Haha.

Anyway, is anybody here working at one of PA's " enhanced vehicle safety inspection stations"? I'm going to need to have the trailer inspected by one of these to get a vin & a title issued. Yes I know I could cheat and just use one of the other plates, but this way I could sell it later on.
