if you are in south florida or south west florida charlotte county has really long trails all along I-75 and most locals refer to it as "YORKSHIRE" but thats just the main street to get to it all some of it is private property though. anyone on here in that area? i cant wait to get my tires so i can go back its been years since i have actually wheeled there.

There may not be much for Rocks in Florida there is a few spots to test your skill in Ocala, Hardrock is opening more and more trails and there is a few other spots that you could go to in Ocala with the right guide that will challenge your driving skill Like in the pictures that ive attached!!!

Hardrock Cycle Park is located at the north end of Ocala on C-25A, 3/4 mile south off SR326 (Exit 358 from I-75) whenever anyone wants to come up and ride send me a pm and ill meet up with ya and show you a few other good riding spots besides Hardrock, I live in the Ocala National Forest so I know of a lots of good trails and there are a few good riding spots a few miles from Hardrock!!!

i live in ocala, and the best places ive found to go rock crawling is old limerock pits, ive been to some pretty serious places around here where jeeps set up for crawling had trouble gettin around, and the national forest is good for trails, most of it is just roads though, theyre dirt and can get fun, but after about 20 mins it gets pretty boring

Hey I'm down in st. petersburg, but i'm ok with driving to ocala every once and a while. my dad use to take me there when I was a little kid and wheel around in his Grand wagoneer. now that I have a jeep of my own it would be fun to start goin there again, and it would be even better if I could meet up with some other XJs!! But have any of ya'll aver heard of Rancho? its in Zephyrhills on CR54 about 0.5 miles west of US98. I'm usually there every other weekend or so

Floridamudslinger,

How often do you go to Alpha pit? I haven't been in 2 years but I remember it being a bit risky and not entirely legal. Have things since changed? I sold my wrangler to fund a diesel swap in a cherokee. This swap has just been completed and I'm itching to get it dirty
