Wow, that's great news on the oil pressure. That 4.0 has a new lease on life! Nice work

Jeep is looking good
I`d have left the rockers tan to keep a more original look but that`s just my personal preference...I actually was looking at this exact same model/color Jeep in the junkyard Saturday and was thinking of getting the grill to put on my 1994 Cherokee just because it would look cooler but saw the mounting holes lined up differently so passed on it...As far as the increase in oil pressure I am getting ready to change my rear main seal and have been contempleting what else I need to do while in there as my oil pressure sucks..When I first start it can be near 40 psi but once I am warmed up and driving it plummets and I get no more than the upper 20's-mid 30's at speed and it can be as low as 15 psi at idle

Thanks, There was no way I could match the color of this 22 year old vehicle now. Even with the paint code, The sun has faded the original paint job over the years. That is the reason I went with the Rhino on the bottom. Now it has grown on me and looks great.Originally Posted by Programbo

As far as oil pressure you could go the same route I went. I started with a new Sender which was 10 bucks and a new sender actually gave me a better idea of the actual pressure. Then I did the rear main, front main, and timing chain. Yeah and I ordered a High Volume pump from summit racing it was 100 bucks. Cleaned all the engine sludge I could also. Thanks for the comments and let us know what happens with your when you start it.

Great build write up. I am going to use your model to build mine. I really like how you have the original look and incorporated the tow points on the hitch and under the front bumper. Did you also rhinoline the undercarriage? If so, how did you get it on? Spray gun? I'm afraid I might cover something important or freeze a bolt by covering it with liner. (I am trying to fight rust)

x2 this is a great build for sure . im working on my 99 this thread has helped me with mine more than once ... hats to this build ..
Thanks for the comments
I did not rhino the bottom of my Jeep and if you did it wouldn't freeze any bolts.
Update I would stay away from el cheapo Walmart brand rhino lining the stuff is peeling like crazy now.

I used the dupolicolor liner with a roller and brush on my rockers and roof. turned out great with texture. I have a little more I want to do yet but I would definately consider duplicolor for the price.Originally Posted by 5spd-XJ
