Broken or not, this thread is an inspiration. I haven't got the money for a lift yet, but yours is about as high as I'd like to go. (Well, maybe one more inch - who doesn't want one more inch, after all?

Hey man your xj just picked one up for dirt cheap but 4wheel drive doesnt engage i know its got the vacuum lines and everything in the process of tracing them so if any are busted..............any more tips or suggestion much aprreciated

I would make sure your shift lever is attached to your T-case good.
On my old XJ there is no Vacuum for 4WD.
My Front axle is NON-Disco.

No, you said it broken in this post, so I wanted to know what the problem was. Was it the leaf, and brake issue that you fixed?? If so, my bad...
