What I usually do is take one of the bolts that bolt the hub to the knuckle, run it about half way into the threads and beat the **** out of the bolt at each hole until it's worked free.

Now, you have to have a spare bolt to do that... The bolt won't be good anymore, obviously.

When you swap to a 44 this won't be an issue anymore.

same thing as hitting it with a hammer... i did the same junk and learned the hard way... got it all back together when done and had all kinds of up and down play... this PUSHES on the inner part of the bearing and PULLS on the outer part... causing it to separate... you may be alright but thats just my experience with it...

Here's what ya do. Put the spindlenut back on it. Torque it down. Then beat the **** out of it with a hammer. The axle shaft and nut will hold the bearing together.
