Usually when it free spins I take long Chanel locks and pry it out while ratcheting it out.

Where do you pry it at? I tried putting channel locks on the head of the bolt wiggling it while prying. My jeep has been sitting for 3 weeks and its driving me insane

Is it backed out at all, or just basically flush with the shackle box?

It backed out about 2mm at the most. I can get a small pry bar under the head of the bolt.

Maybe try a screw driver prying under the head, while ratcheting it.

Ive tried that a few times..all it does is let the screw driver slip out. Thinking about dropping the tank drilling a hole all the way through and putting a 7-8" bolt through it and be done

Sure does.

Most of the bolts I've had to take off broke.

My steering box bolts are gonna brake when I put the new spacer in, I'd rather upgrade to a Durango box than drill and tap weak threads.

Is this an upgrade for the cherokee steering box, I am building a winch bumper and will be removing the bolts on my steering box, I also have upgraded steering drag link to install, do I need to beef up the steering box while I am in there?
