I know what I would like to change about everything too. True 3 link instead of radius arms would be first, way less binding and would change how the front end would unload. My front end has unloaded only a few times but I could still get over what I was trying to.
Steering and brakes will soon be upgraded.
Ready to get the rear end locked, when the rear hits an undercut of a rock and spins the other side is a real *****. I walked everything at gulches, even on my worn down Km2's. Death Valley was fun, TNT rock garden, Palmetto crossing, RR. I wanted to climb ship wreck but we had a huge line trying to get down to it plus I don't think I could have lined up to it...
Locking the front has been the best upgrade I've done. I love it.

Well you're driving straight so it's not acting any different than an open diff. As long as the sprigs and pins are tight and not worn down you'll only hear it in parking lots.

I would buy a used one, but replace the springs and pins. Basically only buying the side gears. I'd also get a chromoly cross pin like an Aussie has.
Life expectancy depends on wheeling, abuse, set up, and how often it unlocks probably plays a roll in there. Then normally just replace the springs and pins for a couple bucks.

Lokka. Same thing as an Aussie (read the FAQ's and google it on NAXJA)
I need to get a spare spring kit and chromo pin since I wheel pretty hard with mine.

Cross pin should all be the same, unless a company uses a bigger pin than stock (I think 1 or 2 might?). I'll probably call Aussie tomorrow and ask if I can use their pins and springs then order off amazon.
