A lot of companies stamp "4340" on the yoke. Not all of them though.

What does a typical set run for a d30, I mat have found a bargain on a set of new G2's but I have no knowledge with chromoly shafts

I'll do that in the spring, I hope... So it'll be warming up. Thinking about chopping out most of the roof, leaving a little strip of metal between the stock roof rack mounts and doing a halo cage kind of thing tying down the A and B pillars then curving down the back. Need to figure out how to make it as weather proof as possible... Make some sort of snapable soft top with good sealing capabilities... Me and nana can sow!
