Yeah, I've been meaning to do that too but that's where I keep my spare tire. I'd have to do something different with it.

Need to figure out how to make it as weather proof as possible... Make some sort of snapable soft top with good sealing capabilities... Me and nana can sow!

Modified JK soft top might work, if you can sow.

I have a small leak where the pump sits down into my tank now.

I'll probably clean out the 98's tank and stick it in an enclosure.

Need to look at how N20 did his. Deciding between recessing it in the floor or just building on top, plus the plastic tanks are different and more bulky. I'll probably end up with some kind of diaper tire carrier on the rear bumper.

Recess it in the floor. It'll take up way too much room if you don't.

and I can't stand those tire carriers. Do something like Travis has in the bed of the MJ. I'll do something like that.

The plastic tanks don't have a lip around them, should I build a floor for it underneath the body? Like 4-6" deep?

I have an idea in my head of what to do with the tire... Harder to put into words. A 2x4 bumper with a piece of pipe bent and angled back into the Jeep with the tire on a swing out.

I have my 94's tank and my 98's. Both sending units work.

I can fix my 94's I think...

Just cut the floor to fit tight or how should the tank be secured with straps?

Just find another early model steel tank with the lip. They're... everywhere.

I had another MJ tank but I'd be damned if I'd use it since senders are so hard to find.
