Any of you guys from around Montgomery? I ask because I'm moving back that way this weekend. I found a group on FB but was wondering if we had any active members here in the area...

Hi guys i think my motor finally got tired of running only on four cylinders. Now seems to be locked up. anybody know where i can find a decent 4.0 locally i wouldnt mind traveling a little bit im located on birmingham any useful input would be highly appreciated. thanks.
Angel. A couple months back I found an black xj in midfield at a car lot (think bessemer super highway somewhere). It had ~150k miles on it. The guy wanted $500 for the whole thing. Said it ran, but couldnt find the key so I can't verify. Also, there is a guy on craigslist parting one out cheap...Let me know if you need more info.

All right boys, I'm back in the XJ game again. Actually I have been for the last couple of weeks. My Z71 trans took a crap on me so my buddy let me drive his built XJ to work. All it took was about 3 mins going down the road and I knew that I needed another one. A couple of months ago he was asking way more that I wanted to pay, but through some manipulation and the fact that he needs to buy his wife a bigger car, he dropped the price a few thousand in order for me to bite. I don't have any daytime pix but I will by the weekend.

Currie Currectlync steering
Custom Front and rear bumpers
Custom full undercarraige Rock Sliders
10k LB Warn Winch
33" ProComp MTs with Spare on black D windows
.....and some other odds and ends.
I have known this XJ for years and it was what I wanted my old XJ to be like. I have helped maintain this jeep over the last couple of years and I know that it is in great shape..........and it will tackle some serious obstacles.
It needs some Control arm bushings up front, so I will be switching them to Polyurethane in the next week. It has cold A/C and hot heat. Also has full power window and Doors, which I didn't have with my old XJ.
Can't wait to get back on the trails.
