Yea you can do that. Ive seen some xjs with hooks. Some are fabbed up.mounts that prolly work some are factory hooks and ive jus seen hooks welded to the front frame rails (I got a rear factory hook from a yard)

Installed my flat belly today on the jeep.

Gave me 18 inches at the lowest part of the chassis. Pretty much like running a 5" lift with 35's. Except I am a 3" lift on 32's.

Was not that bad. Had to hide the exhaust up in the frame rails. Bought a muffler that was only 3.5" deep. And used a 10" piece of thick c channel for the cross member. So its completely flat across the frame rails. I will attach a full skid under it later. But its tons better than the stock set up. Sorry no pictures yet.

 

How many of you are going to Heiney Farms Oct. 26? I may put in for this with my wife and stay the night since it's about 2.5 hrs. from me.

 

I may make it out we'll have to see what the funds look like

 

Is it a 2 day event?

 

I think you may be able to Wheel Sunday if you want, but it's mainly a Saturday event.

 

Also if someone could bring a grill? I will bring some food.

We need to bring food and drinks.

 

You need to bring the family for this one. A great place for about any truck. Two toys are the entry fee. Or 20$.
