What about the 26th? Can you make it?
If not november in wellsville. I am going to that one I hope also.
we will be there the 26th, and i think we are planning at trip to wellsville in november as well. maybe we can coordinate dates and go the same time, is there something going on in november?

I want to run about a 4.5" lift and then run 35" tires. My rig is going to be an expedition style rig. I want to pick up a set of notch customs x-max flares so I will have no problems running the 35's. They cost almost the same if not less(depending on where you shop) as bushwacker flares.
I want a full Clayton LA kit but I might piece something together. Any ideas?

Mine is an expedition style rig also. Thats why I have the snorkel. And sand ramp.
Honestly I am not sold on long arms at all. Especially the rigs I have seen with them.
If you are going with a 5+" lift. Then yea I can see the need. But I would roll a rig with much more than 4" and 35's the places I venture. Thats why I am going back to two inches. And when I get my 35's I still will be a two inches.
you can flex awesome with short arms. You can get ground clearance with a flat belly kit. I recently put one on mine. I have the same belly clearance as a jk with 4in of lift and 37" tires. Which is 18in to the lowest part of my underside(belly) I have 24" when at full droop!!
There are huge advantages to low cog rigs.
I think you can piece together a really good suspension package without the expense of a long arm kit.

I was planning on piecing together a new suspension over the winter along with the larger tires and notch custom flares, and larger gears then putting it all on at once.
For steering I'm still stuck between the currie steering upgrade or a serious/JCR 1ton OTK kit.
What flat belly kit do you have?

Most of that kit stuff doesn't really work well. I work at a 4wd speciality shop and still piece together what I exactly need.

I just made one. I have a transfer cade clocking jig. Routed the exhaust up high between the frame rails. Then used a 10" channel flat across for the new cross member. Gained me almost 3" of GC.
