ohio roll call
I am at 3 in the front and 4 rear. Dropping it to 2 in the front and 2.5 in the rear hopefully by the 26th.
That should be perfecto as far as off road efficiency for my type of wheeling.

I want to run about a 4.5" lift and then run 35" tires. My rig is going to be an expedition style rig. I want to pick up a set of notch customs x-max flares so I will have no problems running the 35's. They cost almost the same if not less(depending on where you shop) as bushwacker flares.
I want a full Clayton LA kit but I might piece something together. Any ideas?

More than likely I will end up buying Claytons LA upgrade, then source the coil springs and leaf springs from RE or something but I'm not totally sure yet, just depends which one is going to have the better load rating, since I'm going to either be towing a trailer eventually or loading down the rear with a bunch of gear plus a RTT on the roof.
However this is still down the road, still have a lot of other things that need done first.

Some pics from our trip to southington this weekend. overall a great time despite the weather, ran into a hiccup with the xj 45 minutes out...waterpump started pissing coolant. had to swap that real quick, then finally made it...

this is why i miss living in Idaho. i love the snow. out west its light and fluffy, not heavy and wet like it is here. i want to do some wheelin' this winter if we get enough snow.

found a crack in the side of my radiator today. weird, i was looking at it earlier and noticed some coolant pooled up in the bottom of the battery tray, but couldn't see any leak in it. a short 5 minute drive home and i found it, pouring out the side. hopefully replacing it on payday this thursday. i was going to order a new header or manifold(got the crack around the collector), but gotta get the more important thing first.

Looks like a good time. Missed it this month but hoping to make the last 2 of the year.
it was really sloppy, rained all day. but made the most of it. its only my second time there, i thought it was bigger than it actually is. haspen and wellsville dwarf southington, but its great scenery
