Default New to the XJ....

Hey people, Im new to this Jeep thing and am really getting into this whole jeep vibe with mudding, rock climbing and ect. I bought my first jeep while i was in afghanistan and couldnt wait to see it when i got home. I bought this 1998 for 2k with 160k on it. Come to say the jeep runs perfect and everything works on it, no leaks nor engine noise. sounds like a brand new vehicle. As of right now it is BONE stock but will soon transform into a nice RIG to go offroading in.

I got some tj flares if you get ^^^those 31x12.50, they'll stick out a bit and cover up most of that 12.50..

Tom, you need to lift that jeep at least 3 in. go to www.roughcountry.com and look at their kits. since yours is nice, look at your rear leafs and see if they sag alot. they dont look like they do so you should only need the kit with AAL (add a leaf). its cheap and easy. then you can put those 31s on. another easy upgrade is ripping those stock fender flares off and cutting. gives you more room for articulation.

I went to Discount tire online. I got 31 x 10.5 Kumho Road Venture MT KL 71s and 15 in Unique 297 black powder coat wheels. Mounted, balanced and shipped to my door for just over 900. Exellent tires and good looking low maint wheels. Very nice looking jeep.
