Mine were only attached with a flat plate and I never had any issues..

I stand corrected then, I am a big fan of overkill though, still thinking the best design is to somewhat wrap the uni, but thats just my thinking.

mike and jason both ran the ajs offroad armor sliders that mount with the flat plate and mike said hes never had any problems.

i was going on the over kill when we built mine thats why theirs 10 pinch weld bolts and 12 body mount bolts on each side with 3 mounting arms not 2 like most other companies use.

No, I'm a huge fan of overkill as well! Maybe I just never hit them hard enough!

pulled the front drive shaft and the metal on metal grinding noise is gone. The ujoints in the cardon seemed fine though??? I will get a new shaft from the JY once i start working again. Hopefully thats all it is. And not deeper into the t-case. On a brighter note i dropped the crutches and hoping i can get a note next friday from doc to return to work. 8 weeks without a paycheck and wife having to work 70hrs a week to make up for my crippled a$$ has been miserable. way to much pain and stress on the family. enough of my whining...looking forward to working, making money again and wheeling
