if the shafts will fit through the seal's with no problems you should be good to go.

Quote: Now, with the crossover, the "roll steer" is something I barely read about that fits my issue. I do not have a significant issue with bump steer, however when the body rolls on account of turning or hitting a bump on just one side, the jeep steers itself to a pretty hard-to-manage degree.
Ok, I understand now. Mine did that while I had the inverted T and my bracket was up high for crossover, Every time I would come over a bump it would push right on up, then pull left as it came down. Would be very weird feeling over overpasses And larger bumps. I would think that since mine went away with moving it up to match my track bar bracket (axle side) It should go away when you move your track bar bracket (axle side) to match the steering arm hieght at the knuckle. I hope I am making sense lol

Quote: anyone know where i can find parts for my dana 44? it's from an 87 wagoneer xj... ive been having trouble finding parts for it... from what i got it's a 2.75" tube, 8.5" ring, and 30 spline... i think i got all that right. until i pull everything apart i won't know. but i haven't found any parts for that axle
you are correct sir! Here is the best part about that axle. EVERY D44 LP has the same parts! (except shafts/brakes) Which is why things are so cheap...

what parts are you looking for? I bet I can find them!

well it's not in great shape, so i was planning on getting new bearings, seals, shafts, ring and pinion, and locker... a locker will replace the carrier right? ive never heard but from the pictures it looks like it. i was thinkin about a spartan, but i haven't really looked that far into it yet

Quote: Tom read my "broken man, broken XJ" post last night. Drove to his house this am and we figured out it was the front right ujoint that was shot. He gave up hours of his day to rip out the broken one, drove my son and i to the parts store and installed the new one while my crippled self watched and learned.

Thanks man for helping me out in my desperate time of need (and the mountain dews for my son). BTW, of course im gonna butter tom up for all his help...but that bronco is gonna be a beast !
Glad it got taken care of! I was on lock down at home with the baby, Or I would have been up there sooner....

Quote: Anyone know if rubicon wheels fit a 91 xj
I assume you mean the Moab's?

Yes and NO, The 16" versions are 5x4.5 and will bolt up(but require spacers with wider tires then stock, from what I have read)

The 17" ones are 5x5.5 and will not work with out adapters...

I have read that some 16" ahd 5x5.5, and some 17" had 5x4.5 but I have never seen them so I don't buy it lol, I would measure before you buy thought!
