How did you replace the ujoint step by step i'm having a hard time visualizing this moving balljoint....and the only balljoint nut you can get a impact gun on is under the axle....

Wheel off upper ball joint nut lower ball joint nut center 30mm nut tie rod end. Then found out it won't drop down enough then caliper three bolts in back of hub out with axle torch to old u joint in with new top ball joint tightened up good lower threaded on half way or so then just started spinning the shaft in the ball joint

yeah you don't need to mess with the balljoint's when changing a ujoint steps should be, wheel off, caliper off, the big nut on the hub off, the 3 10 point bolt's in the back of the hub that hold the hub on, tap with brass hammer remove hub and set to the side and remove shaft.

when i ran my 30 if i had the shafts out i checked or tightened my ball joints. 1 it's easier to get to the top one 2. many times on a 30 when you bust a shaft or have a bad joint it'll hit the ball joint bottom and cause it to loosen. or it could push it out seen that many times. so it actually is a common thing.
