I love that sound... I just think "its good to be out here and that's money well spent, every time I hear it! lol

I loved the sound of Rock dragging along the sliders and belly up pan on my YJ, I also loved the loud snap of a locked D35 on 33's because I knew I was able to get the wife's approval to do an axle swap !

Rock dragging on steel is always a good sound

That seams a bit steep to me. I was thinking $125-150 range.

I was thinking $150 obo lol , as thats how much I am trying to pick up a 231 for. probably going JY shopping tomorrow. If I find one I may have my case out this week. SYE is only 3 months old(was 100$)... will have the spicer adapter too. (u-joint to flange) so you can run a front shaft as the rear. If you have a good front shaft I'll just trade you mine with the adapter on it so it will just bolt in.

haha, yeah i was bored at work and had extra paint... painting drive-train parts are not really my thing... but it looks good enough.

How much slop should there be in the chain? there isn't a ton... but its not as tight as it was before, tried to get it tighter but it just was what it was. thinking I might be able to sneak it in tomorrow or sat during the day.. if not Monday will be the official day.

I am also drilling the trans and clocking it up 10* which is why its not jsut a 20-30 min thing....
