Alright guys got a question about these pic.
I smashed my cut cut and fold in and don't really know what to do about this I was thinking about cutting it out the fold then cap it off so I don't get water or mud in it and then put a tube running across the bottom of it for rock protection.
Any help is needed thanks

Try to squeeze it closed again and put some thicker metal over it to cover it

Took my jeep out today and the voltage was barely above 9 so it died. We tried jump starting it but it would go above 9. Only way to get it started was a clutch dump down the hill. Would it be alternator?

Here's how the factory suggests you shift the transfer case and I've been doing this since these things were new and I worked at the dealership. Quoted from the owner's manual.

"To engage, shift the transfer case lever from 2H to 4H while the vehicle is moving at any legal speed". I let off the gas, throw the lever, and then tap the gas and let off.

4L position: " To engage, slow the vehicle to 2-3 MPH , shift the transmission to Neutral, then shift the transfer lever to the right and pull firmly rearward to 4L".

That's I'd interesting to know. I have always slowed down put it in neutral and shifted into 4H or 4L.

You CAN and I do also, but only after choosing 4H at speed.

Got a 231 case? Shifts WAY easier than a 242.

So driving my jeep and it was overheating so turned towards my friends house and it started making a loud clicking noise from the motor. I'm thinking I might have blown the head. Any ideas.

What does "blown the head" mean?
