The problem started when it started to over heat cause the volts and everything else was just fine until I was driving it around and it got too hot.

REmove and clean your battery cables at both ends. Inspect the cables and make sure everything is shiny and has good contact. Clean the paint/oil off the block etc.

Agreed. its either a bad cell in the battery(I know its "new') or a voltage drop/poor conection.

All depends on the breather location. I had all mine ran up to the top of the firewall for this reason.

I'm going to try to go through and clean all the grounds. Maybe I'll look at buying an optima. What about the clicking noise from the engine when it was overheated. Hope it is just something with the head and not some piston or rod.
