I think they look good and protects your legs from branches and stuff but doorless does look cool on xjs

Locks don't stop anyone just the honest people. Plus you would have to have to have a metal counsle in order for it to be secured. A drill, screwdriver, hammer, and wire cutters and bye bye jeep. If it don't have a fob then fine. I'm not saying I know but I know

Gonna make another one of these to bolt in the back when the time comes. Anything remotely valuable will go in there. I generally keep my jeep empty though. Most valuable thing in there would probably be the spare. But I know what your saying, you can only make it harder to get.

There is a desert sand colored XJ I see in paradise hills all the time with half doors front and back. It looks like a legit apocalypse rig but I dig it like a shovel. I have power everything as we'll. I would just cut the hinges to make it a quick swap. I would only use the half doors when wheeling and then throw the full doors back on when using it as the DD.

After having the Wrangler for seven years I think I'm going to leave the doors on the XJ. Its kinda nice to have a bit of security.

No, no, no. RS is ok for basic electronics you need right this second and willing to pay 20x what the component is worth.

For this application go to digikey, newark or similar. Search for an IP67 type connector. This way your good for automotive and offroad usage. You can get a bulkhead connector hard mounting on the Jeep door jam. Door side you can have a hanging 90 degree mating connector.

You should only need a few positions / wires for the doors. I believe I have some unused $70 mil-grade connectors in the garage. If anyone wants them let me know. I will sell for $10.

Yea whenever I'm at the yard and see a wj think about getting them but don't, trying to find what my best bet waggy axles so I can have lock out and 44s bigger bolt pattern or build my 30 wj knuckles lockouts, and gears and spool. And build my rear 44. I just don't know yet.
