New Mexico Roll Call.
Went up Forest Rd 462 off Coyote Trail head over the weekend exploring the area a bit further. With time short wondering if anyone has ever done night wheeling out there. Would sound like a good trip fro a few XJ to hit the trail.

I need more advice, because I am completely stupid with AC stuff. I have replaced my hoses for the AC because of a leak. I had it recharged and the AC stayed cold for almost a month, now it stopped cooling down again. I checked for a leak and I didn't find any. Would the AC Compressor being bad cause that or do I need to look at something else? I'm sick of the AC already, I wish I wasn't such a diva about having a cool Jeep with the windows up.

Had a similar problem charged and not cooling. When you turn the AC on infringing of the compressor there is a wheel that starts turning. If its not turning take a wrench to it, it should have some resistance but if it is fighting to turn your clutch may be stuck. If its getting hot cuz it's being forced to move its grinding down a bearing.

There is a squeal coming from one of the pulleys and I am in the process of replacing my power steering pump, so if the squeal remains I know it's that bearing. I don't mind changing the compressor, its waiting for someone to fill and test the unit again, for the 3rd time...
