Night time wheeling in the puerco oh that is interesting esp on little lions back when your aired down to 15psi and all your wheels are chirping and then getting out is even better. But night wheeling in the mesa can do the same thing I've almost rolled at night.

Hey that would be awesome man, I wouldn't mind getting the freon. I hate waiting at the freaking auto shop, I am a hands on kind of guy.

That is fine. We should not discriminate to much if someone wishes to go off road in a Prius. If you have not noticed they look pretty slick on top. I'm sure that once they get trapped in a few rocks we could just go right up and over most likely smoothing out the trail for the XJ.

Holy cow guys have I got a story for you!! Last night on a wim I went to go run the placitas. Full tank head up there I see a little hill I wanna climb over a little track all good. I get to a point in the Mtn my lights dim, and my battery starts to freakin die in me! Like the fuh? Truck starts to shut down turns off and now I'm just in neutral going down the Mtn with low lights. **** gets rough! I saw screw this I'm not Gunu die with hard breaks and now power steering. So I camp out till morning. Won't start, so I put it in neutral coast down the Mtn find the nearest house. Thankfully the guy had a battery recharge station!! Made it home.

Scared *** heck!! Kinda an adventure? Kept telling myself "this is Gunu be funny as heck tomorrow"

Oh man, that's crazy! And that's why they say you should never wheel alone. Do you know why it happened?

I got a good laugh out of these, found them on craigslist

Seriously!? $950 for a non-winch front bumper!? That's ridiculous! $800 for a rear bumper without a receiver.

Well said sir. When I drive my 150 on the freeway I always want to hit a Prius just to see if it will explode.

Honestly that is just sad. Here are some "custom" bumpers the guy either made or paid way to much for and is now asking a mint for them. Does not really matter which it is. Just because he got taken or is overly impressed with the "custom" bumpers does not mean others should cover his loss.

Happened to mine a few years back. Was the ground wire next to the battery came loose after years of service. Don't know if it helps, but it is easy and cheap to fix if it is the same thing.

Maybe you'll learn now not to ge wheeling alone lol. They it can be really shady up there esp when you get closer to the man caves and the where is carla signs. What I'm thinking that went wrong is that you alt it about shot or your voltage regulator I'm pretty sure that the regulator is build into the alt so gotta replace the whole thing.
