Well I started the 6.5 LA install today. So far it has gone pretty smooth with only one broken bolt. The whole front end is torn apart after 5 hrs of working and drinking LOL Hopefully it will be buttoned back up by tomorrow. Then it’s on too the back. Here are some pics of the progress and my buddy's kick *** shop
Before I started... the parts

The jeep ready to be torn apart and the shop

The Tool Room

Redneck engineering at its finest... a oil fed, vacuum motor blown wood stove. This sucker will heat the whole uninsulated shop to 65 degrees when it is 15 outside and make the 1/2 steel it’s made out of glow red!

And the progress, bye bye shocks

Bye bye old trusty JKS discos

Bye bye front coils

These help a lot!

Bye bye lower control arms

Looking kinda empty hanging on the uppers

First thing tomorrow it will be bye bye uppers and stock control arm mounts via plasma cutter then on to the new cross member and t case skid.
