Will do! I plan on doing a complete install report / review on it since there are not many around yet. My Rough Trail SYE came in yesterday so now its just a matter of soaking all the bolts for a while longer getting the drills I need and going to town.

Found out that a faulty door pin was what was causing my interior lights to stay on all the time. Went to Napa and ordered a new one... 8 bucks, not bad for a dealer part! It will be nice to get that fixed. Went out and bought the drill bits I need to install my lift. Also spent a butt load of quarters at the car wash washing the jeep. I had to clean all the caked on mud off of the undercarriage since I will be installing the lift soon. Last but not least soaked all my bolts with PB blaster. I had to crawl underneath to do it and it all dripped on me so now I stink like PB lol

so I did the slave cylinder install back in December and the wifey was driving and got stuck at a drive through. Couldn't go anywhere. I bled the system there in the parking lot and got no pressure. Decided the slave must've been faulty. I was wrong. Replaced it and still had no pressure. So it was obvious it must be the master. It was...but...the line between the master and slave was screwed up at the quick disconnect. The 93 is "special" in that it has the slave in the bell housing, so it's a *****. Anyway, the line between cylinders does not have an aftermarket part. I went to some junk yards and the ones I found had some part of the line cut off, so I ordered it from Mile High Jeep Rebuilders (who are awesome) and they ordered it from Chrysler. (Jim over there is highly knowledgable and bent over backwards to find the part in the city, used/new, because Chrysler takes forever to send parts.) 1 week later and $80 bucks I was back in business.
While it was down I went ahead and did the white gauge mod with green neon lighting the australian web site has. It's cool.
Now I plan on getting back on track by replacing the u joints in the front axle. I think once I do that I'll be satisfied to actually go wheeling come spring. It'll be mostly stock but good to go mechanically.
The leaf springs in the rear need replaced, but I think I'll combine that with a lift in the future. But that's just it, I've essentially nursed this Cherokee back to health and now it's time to do upgrades.
ok, well, I do still need to the rear main seal I think. It does leak oil, and it looks pretty dang easy to replace the rear main seal. Good start to try combat that issue.
I used to say that if it doesn't fit on my kitchen table, I won't bother fixing it. (I'm and IT admin) But buying this Jeep has been a lifelong dream and theraputic in that I'm actually doing the work. Ask me 6 months ago about pulling a tranny off and I would've laughed. Granted, necessity is the mother of invention. In a way, balking at replacing the slave cylinder for 1200 or doing it myself for 200. I've reinvented myself and have a healthy beer budget.
That and these forums and all the other resources online have rocked my world.
Anyway, I had to get it out there, my wife and family are a little tired of hearing me say Jeep this, Jeep that.

Did a tune-up on Miss Moneypenny this afternoon, and I think I figured out why my friggen mileage has been sucking. Cap was marginal, rotor was trashed and all the plugs were gapped at .055. I got lazy as the service records I got with her indicated a tune-up was done last spring, so I put it off. Note to self: Don't be a big dummy, check it out and be sure.

Wierd seeing all that snow in your neck of the woods Cliff. Can't wait to see how the new lift turns out.
Right now we have like a foot on the ground and my drive way is so muddy I almost get stick in 4WD lol The jeep is way muddier now than in that first pic, I guess I will have to wash it again before the lift goes on. If I had the cash to go skiing I wouldn't mind but I dont so I wish it would all melt and go away!

put on some front tow hooks, installed a new brake master cylinder, new rear brake cylinders, repaired my front axle breather tube and connection, drained and refilled the front diff, installed my back spacers and put the BFG AT's back on...next its new upper and lower control arm bushings, and deciding on weather I should do a 4 bold steering box or rebuilding my 3 bolt.

snow, atleast til next winter. I need Spring!
