There may a quality difference in the materials used to make the wire. I would assume a welding shop would use better quality, but I honestly have never heard of getting copper wire at a welding shop.
Maybe my welding shop is too small??You may even be able to find a universal battery cable that is close to what your looking for from napa or advanced or something like that. Bonus there is that they usually have ends already on them so you dont have to have huge crimpers to do the job!

It is a great source for custom length large AWG wire. Perfect for things like battery relocation, rear winch, jumper cables.....good heavy duty stuff! They can terminate the ends as well, or you can do it yourself. You can buy plain terminated #1 AWG cables in various lengths at almost any major parts store...(and I might remember seeing them at Wally World). Older Ford trucks used them when they ran the starter solenoid on the fender well...so they are pretty common...you should be able to find something pretty easily.

Running 39.5 boggers is like running a 44 tsl since they weigh about the same and have a tread design that has a higher rolling resistance than regular tsl ,and nowhere near round ,and go out of balance over 50-55 ,but XJ still handles well despite this ...lol. Now if I were to put some 40-42 mt/r on it then it would ride like a caddy at whatever speed the 4.0 can push it at , So I think 35's should easily be streetable ,agree ?
