So i am in the market for tires.. Got about 900.00 spending limit but want to run 35s again simply cuz the 4.88 gears. I am a little scared of running 33s on 4.88s. The deal is i can only really afford the bfg a/t ko in 35s. Opinions on this tire??? If i where to go 33s i can run the goodyear duratracks or the mt/r kevlars wich i wanted in 35s but im too poor lol. Wat u guys suggest. The card i got approved for is at big o tires but they price match so??? I dont need warrenty or install i got that taken care of. Just tires and tax out door. Thanks

I don't know much about that tire, but will what you have last a month or two longer? I've been very disappointed when I compromise to get something "now" instead of waiting another month or two to have the money for what I want. Just a suggestion.

What year is your 5.0? I have an '84 GT vert I finally brought out to Co. Moved here 3 years ago and it's been in storage since.. Love the drive out here, but now it has a fuel leak I need to work out.

have you considered buying used tires? a lot of people sell near new tires on CL for cheap, because they go to a bigger size. I've only bought new tires once to go beat up in the rocks. Won't do it again.

If you still want new, then I'd say search for deals online. A lot of tires are made by the same manufacturers and you can find some off brand 35" muds for $900.

Edit: see if this link works, but there are 5, 35" muds for around $900 shipped.

I rather buy a good set of used but i got the credit card for big o tires so i have to use it there.. I just dont have the extra cash to throw down right now wich i agree does suck but oh well. Think im just goin with the a/t for now then if i dont like them. I see lots of people trying to trade muds for a/t's
