I am seriously considering selling it or trading it for another one. I payed 4,400 for it and it drove great on the test drive and there were no problems whatsoever...the guy that sold it to me was a mechanic even and then I get it home and it develops all these problems.

I kinda want to just start from the beginning and do everything myself.
That or have someone who knows what they are doing look at it and tell me everything that is wrong with it and what to do about it :|

Well the things I know of are:
  • Leaky radiator (multiple spots)
  • Belt squeak (fixed once came back due to radiator leak I believe)
  • electrical problems
  • This blinker thing as of today
  • Absolutely terrible gas mileage (around 9 MPG)
Those are just the things I know of...I am sure there are more.

Left hand finally took out my LCA. Should I spend the time and do the replacements myself or go ahead and have a shop do it for me? Let me know what y'all think

Alright, I think I will have to take you up on that offer....I would love to get some help because at this point I have no idea what I am doing. And I don't fancy putting it in a shop for anything/don't really have the funds to pay a mechanic either.

Anyway, let me know when you are available. I appreciate the offer.

Well, it looks like you live a bit closer to me, and if I am not mistaken I think that we met at that XJ meet. I was the kid with the extremely squeaky green XJ. And may have even seen you at O' Reilly's haha.

But either one of you, just let me know when you guys are available...I'm just in highschool so my schedule isn't very busy so most of the time I am open.
