Try having 488s and punching it in 4hi the shifts are solid yet smooth! It's fun driving the Xj at 60mph across dirt...

Drop it into 1-2 and run it hard up to the 4800rpm pressure shift. Whiplash anyone?

Not much punching going on with a 4.0 and 36's in hi range no matter what gear in the pumpkins ...My 5.13's did a weak job motivating small-ish 38 x 12.50 tsl ,So I can't see 4.10-4.88 with 35-36 being a screamer ... But it probably feels faster to a blue oval owner .

Lol you need to ride in the jeep then. I'm not saying it's scary fast but for a jeep built to crawl and heavy as hell it moves real well. It's actually in 4low it moves good when I punch it 4 hi feels under powered said it wrong

Anything over 30mph on a trail is fast in my eyes. 40mph on bill Moore feels like a roller coaster

This is a very interesting thread. Kept me busy reading it all for quite some time now.

So where is a good place to get a little sideways in the dirt?
