I am debating this move. I love having AC..but I find myself running Mexican AC 90% of the time anyways. (I love the sound and feeling of the wind) and when I am on the trail I dont run ac because I dont want the extra stress on the motor ontop of the crawling and what not.

 

You always want to do things on the cheap. Just get the compressor that hooks up to the battery. A lot less work and less expensive. Plus can move it from vehicle to vehicle.

 

cheap + jeep + wheeling + xj = find a new hobby. lol just kidding Ben.
cheap is hard when it comes to jeeps you sacrifice driveability, safety and security. oba is hard to go cheap on for sure

 

It's a relative use of the word you guys, and I already have one of those portable compressors bud, but thanks. I mention cheap cause I'm comparing it to a Viair setup. Now, I dunno if you went to school or what your deal with me seems to be, but I'm an unemployed full time college student. I don't come from money and I'm not a little brat, so for now I'm trying to do things on the cheap. Nothing wrong with that.

 

Those bloody Viair setups are spendy. I picked up a second compressor the other day at pull-n-save for cheap. I'll let you know how it works out for me Bishop

I don't come from a money family. Have bought everyone of my vehicles myself. I was a full time college student for 3 years paying my own way plus working full time. So don't start complaining about having no money. When you do things cheaply those cheap things like to break. If want something done right do it right the first time even if it costs a little more

One thing I do know is I'm not the kinda person that leaves a someone on the trail while they working on their jeep to go run with another group when they come by

Whoa guys. lets chill out before daddy puts both of you in time out... wait thats just weird! jk lol but for real lets ease up. i dont come from money either but ive always spent my money on the best. everytime. from when i built my mustang that ran 13's or my jeep or truck. the cheap thing i own is my trailer. and im not happy with it. lets just get along guys for real.

 

I seem to get along with most, but you can't make everyone happy. I don't think stubborn and combative people deserve my time, especially with unwarranted attacks toward my moral fiber from someone / some screen name I've never met. Of he took the money thing personally then that wasn't intended, the money thing wasn't meant to be nasty at all, toward ANYONE, just a statement. I've worke for everything I have, all I was stating. I realize my current situation in life limits my modding but is it so bad to still want to mod, or do simple things on the cheap? I dont have problems with anyone here and if anyone has a problem with me I suggest addressing it or not bringing it up, ever.
