Hey was curious if I can join on the trail ride just got a lifted xj on 31s with a winch wanted to see how it does. Are those trails going to be impassable with all this snow?

As for the snow, we may have a tough time depending on how much they actually got...............We'll roll over there and see if we can make it up the trails.....................Bring your snow boots!

I got called in to work this morning at 2am due to the snow................
I am hoping they end "Snow-shift" by this afternoon, cause if it goes into the night tonight, it will most likely affect my plans for tomorrow........

 

All if your still in for tomorrow and have not sent me a message with your cell number please do so I can start a group text. I'm still in if you all are.

 

It looks like we are good to go tomorrow.......................Chance is slim that I might get called back in to work.

We will no-doubt run into deep snow...............
Bring snow boots, some good gloves, and winter clothing. Also bring a shovel, and any recovery gear you have.........
Bring plenty of water, and any food you want for the day. We might be up there for awhile, or we may not be able to make it up the trails at all?


It's going to be cold. Expect to be out trudging in the snow at some point.............

That looks like a lot of fun! I went out to Bunce School rd recently and it made me realize I really need to extend my brake lines and maybe even do a rear disc conversion. Stopping power could have been a little better haha.

 

I know it's a long shot but anyone up for an afternoon run tomorrow? Something low altitude and easy.

I have to work M-F, but I have Monday the 19th off.

 

I would love to go but I am tearing into my front end and plate the front frame rails to strengthen it up to support the steering box and withstand winching. After our fun in the snow I developed that infamous steering crack. I hope to back on the road in a couple of weeks.

 

Does anyone know a good place to get a welding inert gas tank filled? I'm running low on argon for my MIG welder.. Thanks in advance.
