Arizona Auto Insurance News...

PHOENIX — Rebuffing claims it will harm some low-income individuals, a Senate panel agreed Tuesday to increase the amount of liability insurance that motorists must purchase to drive on Arizona roads.

The 6-1 vote by members of the Senate Committee on Transportation and Technology came over the objections of Sen. David Farnsworth, R-Mesa, who said the more extensive coverage will increase costs.

"There are a lot of folks that live paycheck to paycheck,'' he said. "There are people out there right now that are faced with either a permanent or temporary situation where they have to choose between paying the electric bill or paying their mandatory insurance.''

The result of SB 1075, Farnsworth said, would be that more people would simply choose to flout the legal requirement to have liability insurance. And that, he said, would mean more motorists on state roads who have no insurance at all to compensate those they kill, injure or whose property they damage.

Not sure I have ever seen pink like that without some clouds to bounce off of.
I knew you would find that one easily. I can't wait to go up there during a good storm.

You know what would really wild to catch going through that valley, and I think you are thinking the same thing I am? A Haboob in front of a monsoon. They would be impressive to capture from a location like that!

That's one thing that I can say for certain.... of all the places I've lived all over the world... including AZ.... that the Sunsets there truly legendary compared to almost anywhere else I've ever been or lived around the entire globe.

I know... Just messing. But really... Ca has a stupid bear and we got a SUNSET! It really is quite a striking flag though, I think it is one of the more bold, bright, and attractive flags ever adopted. Just like our sunsets!

true... I agree.

Hey... if AZ still only issues a rear license plate, I might put one of the flag ones up front.

Yep... They still only issue one. And quite a few throw a state flag on the front. And this is why... When you go to other states like Ca that require two plates it automatically displays origin when they see the front first instead of just reaching for the disco lights to come write a ticket for not having a front plate...

"Oh... it's from Arizona".

Yeah... didn't think of it that way... but would certainly work. Honestly, there may be other states that only issue 1 for the back.. but AZ is the only one I can honestly think of right now. I just think the AZ flag design would look good on a black metal bumper of a white XJ with black trim.

Went back tonight a little earlier and got a better sunset pic AND a video. Just an FYI when taking these I am standing on the edge of a 500+ foot cliff. Like two feet from death if I stumble. It's not a big deal when just looking at the scenery, but when shooting video it can mess with your equilibrium. I definitely plan to shoot stroms and Haboobs from up there.

I saw that nice little point you are on there. Since it is an OHV area they leave that gate open don't they?
