Went to the junkyard today and got a relay box to make an extra fuse box and also some new taillights that are in better condition. Also got some new parts to fix my door handle as the inside bracket fell apart.

Can't wait to start some new projects.

I really need to just pull the trigger on new steering, control arms and TB.

 

yeah my outside handle decided it didn't want to be a handle anymore

 

Yeah mine did the same thing to me last night. Grabbed a new bracket from JY. I was hoping the 97+ handles would fit but they were too long inside of the door panel.

 

Did you go to Henderson or Lamb?

 

I tried a 98 and it was way long. Sadly the one in henderson didn't have anything under a 97 with handles still on... So I just avoid that door all together now. I have more important things lol like CA and wheel spacers cause my tires are smacking my coils when I turn hard

 

I went to the one on lamb.

Yeah there was only a few jeeps there that had the right handle and driver.

 

I checked yesterday and there's a 99 at the Henderson pick a part. I want to see if it has an overhead console!

I might head to the junkyard Wednesday if anyone wants to go.

So I got some news from my wife last night. Shes on board with buying a new car and taking the Jeep off the road for a while. Then i could take the motor apart and rebuild.

Shes totally ok with it. Just need a down for a car.

The 99 is a green 4 door 2wd. No over head console. Was there 2 weeks ago. Front end is smashed in.
