titles are in no way shape or form easy to replace unless you are the title holder of record. And at that point you are still looking a few months to research. Best way would be to have a wrecking yard do a salvage title on it. Converting to 4x4?? No clue!!!

 

It's the same as an xj to the best of my knowledge. T-case and front diff. new ds. It should all just bolt in. And I like the salvage title idea. If he's the original owner and cool, you could throw him a few bucks to replace it.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I've heard, idk if it was true but isn't it a pain in the *** trying to insure a vehicle with a salvaged title?

Anyone happen to have any manual transmissions laying around? Mine started making some bad noises today.

 

I just called him. He said he bought it and never got the title, so he's not the registered owner or anything. Sounds like getting a title for that thing would be quite a mission.
