New to Vegas and glad to see there is a XJ crew here. I wheeled with a XJ groups in Japan for the past 4 years and looking to find some wheeling buddies.
I have a 2001 Sport 4X4
31X12.5 on 15
4.5 lift but will be going to 6.5 short arm and SYE and driveshaft from Adams offroad.
Some engine mods but once money gets better will be going with 4.7 stroker kit

Scored a front driveshaft, both passenger door lock actuators, and an e-brake handle for $40.
Also scored an HD helmet for 50 bucks!

If it's getting that hot, it's more than likely going bad. Have autozone test it for you.
