Replaced my cat last year. Made sure my o2,s were plugged in, drove it and same thing, and it's doing the same thing in 2nd. I'm thinking maybe fuel related. It's like the whole engine is getting cut off.

 

Speaking of exhaust I think my header is cracked, sounds like I got a little leak

 

I just did mine, got lucky and found the "good" factory header from the jy, which is the same one as stock on mine.

Good time to check your motor mounts!

 

Ya I heard the factory headers crack down by the catback alot ill have to check it out

 

remember Joe, if you gotta replace something upgrade, time for a real header not just that stock crap.

Yep, me too. Exhaust leak down by the lower exhaust manifold. need to get under there and pin point the leak. but even then she nds an upgrade.
Who needs magnaflow muffler, my exhaust leak sounds about the same. lol.

No, my muffler is just ripped apart by rocks. Way differnt then a cracked colletor.

 

I was pretty bummed when I replaced my exhaust manifold. Found actual headers for cheaper than the stock replacement part after I did it.

My muffler got messed up so i just chopped it off. Jeep sounds beast now lol
