Got a driveshaft made from adams yesterday and then got my extended brakelines installed and some new control arms and LESS than an hour later after I finished the jeep... some jack a$$ hit me in my rear axle and now my ZJ shakes at 40-50 mph.
Wife went to the hospital by ambulance and now am just waiting for the guys insurance to claim him as at fault and pay to get my vehicle looked at and fixed.
Didnt even get to go offroad to test everything out and I get hit. Plenty of damage to the jeep that I notice and also a lot of damage that my lawyer will be seeing as well.

I saw that at a shop in Pahrump. I want the fenders.
My engine is making some weird noises now. Only when its cold on startup. It sounds like upper valvetrain ticking but its all clean and tight when I replaced my valve cover. Once it warms up its quiet(er). Noise varies with RPM when cold.
No metal shavings when I change the oil. Might pull the pan since I need to change the rear main. It's only at 150k miles! Maybe I'll just rebuild it or something...

Not entirely sure if theres frame damage as I havent looked at my jeep in depth myself, hell both insurance companies havent made a date to look at the zj yet. The guys insurance wont do ****e until they get the police report stating that their policy holder was at fault.
The damage I see is a melted sidewall of a tire a knicked steelie rim, broken WELDED exhaust hanger, and shaking at 40-50 mph.
The shaking is all I care about really as it never did that before. I can feel the shaking in the seat and a$$ and my steering wheel shakes pretty damn good. Its just like death wobble.

Yeah I got pics. And yeah wife is ok shes just really in a lot of pain. She can barely stand to pick up our son. And buddy hurts just like me, the neck and back are sore as **** and tense.
From what I noticed at a glance that is what I saw as the damage from the rear axle.
He hit us dead onto the drivers side rear D44 axle and made me slide around like a cop just pit maneuvered me.

Been in too many accidents (none my fault) in this town. Hope you and your wife make a speedy recovery.
I still have a shoulder injury from my seatbelt during my last accident in 09. I remember not being able to pick up my daughter at all for a few weeks because of whiplash.
F it, I'm buying a tank for my daily now.

Yeah those fenders are ****in sweet.
And..
Someone told me its worn out pushrod ends, another guy said its worn out areas on the camshaft from wear.
I read an article on Bobistheoilguy.com saying if we use motorcycle engine oil with zinc or phosphorus it never happens in the first place. Ill try and find it.

Damn you & thank you PUCK! you probably jinxed me but atleast ill get a new D44 out of the deal with some fresh gears and seals if the tube is bent and control arms are also bent.
Oh I hope my lawyer takes this **** to the cleaners also as this is just a huge inconvenience and is pissing me off with how slow they are taking (im very impatient).

I didn't have u haul install it. It was already installed when I bought the jeep. 5 wires spliced into the drivers taillight and one ran to the passenger taillight.
