so i bought a driveshaft today totally the wrong one its to long so back again tomorrow for the right one ill bring mine this time so theres no confusion...thats y it broke again the DS was bent .....but like i said at least i didn't break the case this time

So I have no running lights and no dash lights. I have headlights turn signals brake and reverse lights. Checked all fuses and not one is blown. Here's the weird thing. When I use my alarm the running lights flash and when I remote start in the morning they stay on constant. The alarm period puts outs a signal to the lights so I know there isn't a wiring issue or a wire fried. I also just replaced the headlight switch. And still no fix
This all happened Sunday night leaving Hector's and I noticed smoke coming out from my rear. Pull over luckily joe was behind me and we both notice the u haul trailer harness was smoking with my lights on. So I traced the wires back and they had spliced them in with the drivers side tail light. I'm all outta ideas right now. Any ideas or suggestions would great!!!
Rob, just realized I spoke to ya Sunday and you told me to call you when I get off monday. Ill hit ya up tomorrow when I'm off too see if your not busy and ill come to you if that's cool. Ill have a snickers bar with your name on it waiting.

Ok what did they do...splice into the driver side tail light. Just one or two wires?
Or we talking all six wires to the one tail light??? Ive seen some hack jobs
Its stumbling really bad until its warmed up. Then if you pull up to a light, at running temp, it really starts to stumble. And then other times its fine at idle. Intermittent vacuum leak???
Look what I found on craigslist. Im not much for the prerunner style bumper on cherokees, but this is cool as ****
