Dans wouldn't cover their work when they ****ed up and screwed Jon over. Pm allusion if you want the whole story but pretty much they didn't lock tight the ring gear bolts and they backed out and wouldn't cover it because he took it off road. That's the first bad Iv heard about them but that was enough. I know a few people to say good things about this place and the guy takes care of you. For example he have me free alloy USA axle seals and didn't even mention it. I just noticed them once I got home.

I paid 400 for labor only I already had the gears locker carrier and install kit. Dans and 4w parts quoted me 350 but not having to drive across town plus the fact that he actually cares about his work makes it worth it IMO. My friend told me about when he got shocks installed at that place and a month later when he went back for bags the guy drove it and said wow those shocks suck an ordered him different ones and installed them for free. That's customer service if I ever saw it

The 4.10s matched with my 5spd with 33s are amazing. with your auto you would have to get 4.56s to get the same ratio.

Having the locker in the front isn't too bad. I barely notice it. It does pull a little more left and right than before but I also have a **** alignment so that could make it worse. Idk. It isn't too loud either only when turning really sharp.

A locker shouldn't affect drivability in the front because it does not lock without direct power aka 4wd.

that sucks that happened but I have absolutely no trouble with Dan's install it was awesome. I just followed his instructions to the letter during the break in period.

It doesn't effect drive ability but it is noticeable. Ratchet lockers are always "locked". It's not hard locked without input torque but the teeth are still engaged because of spring pressure so it's still kind of locked. its not going to keep the wheels from spinning but its gonna add resistance from the ratcheting effect. without having a selectable locker you will never have a TRUE unlocked diff. Just like if you go from an open diff to a Proper LSD you will feel the difference even though its not locked

Exactly I have never heard bad things about them other than this. but the fact that they wouldn't fix their mistake is what kills it for me. making a mistake is one thing, ignoring it is something else. you cant tell me that break in period had anything to do with ring gear bolts backing out of a ring gear.
