Took the old Alternator out yesterday and when i turned it I could hear all kinds of clicking going on inside. Sure enough it was dead hah. Bought a new one and threw it in. Charged the battery over night and just threw it in. Got 12.75 cold and turned it on and got 14.6 or something like that. Thanks for the help. Next up is prolly the brakes. I heard replacing drums can be a pain. But we will see. Also need to do a full fluid change. Just did my Fiances last night on her Nissan. Man that sucked with how low it sits to the ground hah. But I barely could fit underneath for it hah.
So all parts are bought. New csf 3 row radiator is in. New flow Kooler water pump will be here tomorrow. Replacing the entire cooling system got the rest of the parts from napa. This should do the trick and help it run nice and cool lol

I ordered the radiator online from parts train and bought the water pump from 4wheel parts they were the cheapest. Total cost is going to be about 350 to do the job which will give me a completely new and upgraded cooling system

Drums are eazy peazy, just messy at times. I've have done more drum brakes than disc and don't really mind either.
Only reason to switch to discs is if you NEED the extra power.

So unfortunately (and fortunately) my plans are changing for the Jeep. I'm not selling it. My wife and I have made the decision to purchase a home. We've been talking about this for a long while and now that we have the financial stability to do so. The home won't be ready until September so we have quite a while, but we need to reel in our spending for a down payment. Luckily the new home will have a 3 car garage!
I'm not stopping the build by any means. But I am holding off on a lot of the "extras". I'll be getting the jeep into a running state just so I can pull it out of the garage and into a garage. So a lot of the emissions stuff is going to wait. I really only need to get the harness re-worked and a couple of small things to get the jeep in a runable state, so it shouldn't cost too much.

Drums are not a big deal as long as you pay attention. True, they are not as simple as pad slapping discs, but still not that bad.
Heading to DMV to get my new toy all squared away. Then I get to search for some stock-ish take offs so I can start driving it. Need to feel out any issues it might have before hitting the trails. Won't be lifting it for a couple months and the current tires are trash.
