My winch randomly started working, so to make sure it stayed that way I cleaned a few grounds and gave the main ground a better connection..... Fingers crossed

i re-wired my winch to use the side posts of my Duralast gold 1000 cca battery, and swapped all my battery cables for 0/2 cables. once i figure out how to upgrade my alt wire, then i will post pictures

You may want to check the cables to make sure there is not a break somewhere in the middle. I had one of mine do this. One day it worked fine then went to use it and it would not work after messing with it and moved a cable it started working again. Been replaced and works fine now.

I had already removed, cleaned, inspected every cable, which was why I was so confused with it not wanting to work. I thought about this today tho, think my ground cable is seperating from the actual connector instead under the little rubber piece... I think buck at one time also had a ground run through an start arcing on his bumper.... Damn jeep!
