my pump seized up on the highway and threw the belt into the fan. spent 3 hours in the dark changin it.. that sucked!

 

Just bought a 91 Cherokee with a rebuilt head and 183,000 miles, what should I do first? Replace ****? Lift her? Wanna get into the wheelin world and don't know much about this shiz

 

You can go wheelin stock but if you it lifted I'd jus stick a 3" for now so you don't hafta replace some stuff

 

But what should I replace first? Some guys have said throw a cold air intake on her. And a lift would put more strain on the already old as **** Cherokee, right?

Start with a lift, tires, bumper with wench, and rock sliders. And as you do those... The rest will follow.

183,000 miles, shoot thats just broke in. I would start with general maintenance like cap rotor wires plugs change ALL fluids, diffs tranny transfer flush brake lines if you want flush radiator new coolant. That way when you do install a lift and whatnot you know she is all tuned up and ready to go.

 

Lucky me mine went out when I was backing down my dads driveway to already work on my jeep hahaha.
Seems like my jeep is finally catching up with itself and everything is failing at once.... Yay me, boo my wallet
