Finally drove it.

Its been a good 2 weeks if not more since I have really drove it around.

I got my lift on and after that I took it for a test drive and noticed I had a bad u joint.

Then a week later I am finally fixed my u joint. So I took it for a test drive and its good.

I threw in a steering box from a ZJ, I don't leave spots everywhere now. Plus I got the longer pitman arm. I found some pins at work that might work for quick release on the doors. I got to find some mirrors now.

I repainted my bumper cuz some guy hit me, if you'd see my bumper you wouldunderstand that all I got was scratched paint, he got holes haha. I custom made some new stock fog light covers that are now clear and double pained for rock protection, and I adaped my stock airbox to house my K&N round air filter, I have pics of all of this on my albums

Finally finished up the gears, so 4:11's front and rear with a tru-trac in rear. Front was a PIA. Pinion was either to deep or not deep enough, then the backlash was not working out either and then it all fell into place after removing bearings like 12 times.

So both axles cost me 100, the trac-loc 300'ish, less than 500 re-geared, not bad.

The vent line probably came off at the case. Soon as it gets hot and you go through the next cold water. It sucks it full.

Still getting moved in and settled in my new house. All I've done to my Jeep lately is replace my HB swaybar discos with a set of Quick Discos from Rusty's. I'll post pics of them as soon as I can find my digital camera...LOL. I hate moving...

Cool we went for a drive

Took the XJ cause my Subbie couldn't make it....very top of the hill above the Morton valley...it was amazing, we could see Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams!!!

XJWife,

Hey Girl!! When are we going to get together at Elbe Hills? Pretty pics of Morton Valley. Reminds me that I should come home and visit my cousins sometime soon.
