Rich, nice looking hood. That will cover up that supercharged big block chevy under there quite nicely...lol.
Well, I finally swapped out the 4K+ sludge from my Nevada trip for some fresh dino juice and a new filter. Just part of the prep work of my Jeep for the CF Evans Creek Snow Run next Saturday, 12 December.

I always think of projects for my Jeep. "Custom is King".
1). Over this past weekend I installed some fog lights and homemade covers for them too. I seen too many XJ's with their under bumper fogs lights smashed. I built a frame for each and sandwiched some light steel mesh to the bumper. I painted them flat black and they look solid. No rocks big enough to crack/smash glass will get through. It looks very professional. Like it belongs there.
2) Finally finished rebuilding a JackAll Lift. De-rusting, painting and added a heavy duty rubber pad to the base plate so it doesn't slip so easy on smooth surfaces, ie: garage concrete floor, when the vehicle is jacked up.
3) Used a hole saw to drill extra holes in the Air Filter Box to get more air flow to the (K&N Air) Filter intake tube. Haven't tried it yet but I hope to get a little performance out of it. Fingers crossed.
4) Next project: Build JackAll Lift mounts to affix to my roof rack.
5) Tomorrow, get some new tires put on. Falken High Country M+S Tires. Newest design.
Cheers!
