Well, I am finally back on dry ground after 2 weeks of the old "Haze gray and underway". Man!! I so thought I would be done with going to sea when I retired from the Navy. Oh well, it pays the bills and pays for my toys. Anyhoo, I will be back home in Washington state tomorrow. My first plan is to pick up my new wheels and tires and then get busy working on Great White, again.

Yeah, Buddy, I heard I missed all of the sunny days and now that I'm headed home it's supposed to rain, again. It's good to hear you got a couple of days cruisin in the TA with the T tops off. Gotta love that!!! Truman was just out for 11 days on a "Sustain ex" since we didn't cruise in February like we were supposed to. July is the new word, now. We shall see if your president gives us the gas money to go this time...LOL!!

So nobody on here is interested in the smoking hot RIDICULOUS deal I am offering for my 33" Maxxis Bighorns?? I find it hard to believe nobody on here needs a set of good 33" mudders. These tires are awesome and quiet on road and they are OUTSTANDING offroad. It's just time for me to move up to 35s is why I'm selling them. FIVE 33" Maxxis Bignorns with 75% tread for the price of ONE new. And my typical offer of meeting somewhere halfway to make the exchange. My cell is (360)929-5518. Text or call. the price is $200 for four or $250 for all five...and I throw in the stocker XJ aluminum 10 hole rims for free. I'm located in Oak Harbor, Wa. on Whidbey Island.

Here is a picture of the new replacement frame end bushings for my leafsprings and the new weld on low profile lower shock mounts I got for my rear d44, from Rusty's Offroad. The other pics are the vatious stages of installing the new bushings. So, my leafsprings are all good to go now. I think they actually look better than when they were new with the polyurethane bushings.

I also sprayed a little rattle can black on my UCAs and LCAs. They are all ready to throw under the Jeep now, too. One of my goals with this new Jeep is to keep it from getting so rusty underneath. I think corrosion was part of the problem with my Leafsprings and U-bolts falling apart.

Here a group shot of all of the pieces of Great Whites lift kit minus the shocks. I think I've decided that Skyjacker Nitro 8000s are about the best deal to be had on shocks these days. I just need to figure which ones I need and get them ordered.
